B.R. Strahan taught poetry at Georgetown Univ. for 12 years. From 2002-2004 and was Fulbright Professor of Poetry & American Culture in the Balkans. He. has 6 books of poetry & over 600 poems in America, Confrontation, Christian Century, The Hollins Critic, Poet Lore, and many anthologies. His recent book, This Art of Losing, has been translated into French. His latest poetry book, about his year in Ireland is A Parting Glass, also translated into French.
